Though Aretha Franklin has already received the Grammy Legend Award and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award, you can expect her to be honored further at this Sunday’s Grammy Award ceremony.
Yolanda Adams, Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera will celebrate the 18-time Grammy winner. They’ll be joined by country superstar Martina McBride and up-and-coming artist Florence Wench.
The tribute will kick off the show and will feature individual and collective renditions of some of Franklin’s classics.
However, Franklin, 68, is not expected to attend Sunday night’s event, presumably due to her recent, undisclosed health problems. SOURCE
