The second Tuesday in August is not recognized as a legal holiday on the calendar, but you can’t tell that to most gamers. Today is affectionately known as the Madden Holiday.
People of all ages and backgrounds head to Game Stop or Best Buy at midnight to purchase the new release, stay up all night playing and then call in sick the next morning. Trust me if I didn’t have the responsibility of a wife and newborn son I would have taken the day off too.
I pre-ordered two copies (PSP & PS3) and as soon as I get home I will spend three or four hours on the game…….for research purposes only. What?!?! Somebody has to write a review of the game.
