Former “Family Ties” actor Brian Bonsall is facing assault charges after an altercation with a friend. Bonsall played Michael J. Fox’s youngest sibling Andy on the former TV sitcom. According to the “Colorado Daily,” he was arrested on suspicion of beating Michael Trujillo in the face with a piece of a broken bar stool. Trujillo told police that Bonsall went “ballistic” when the two got into a heated argument at a Boulder, Colorado apartment. Upon Bonsall’s arrest, police also realized that the former child actor was also wanted for failing to appear in court for a 2007 assault charge. Of his latest arrest involving his best friend, Bonsall reportedly claims he was drunk and doesn’t remember anything that happened.
